Unicauca opened a wide agenda of training available to society
Through the CECAV Continuous, Open and Virtual Education Center, eight free virtual courses and diploma courses were launched, aimed at the university community and the general public.
With the aim of contributing to quality comprehensive training and the promotion of human talent, as of May 4, 2020, the CECAV Continuous, Open and Virtual Education Center and the Business Administration program of the University of Cauca , organized a wide range of trainings on different topics.
These classes are accessible to both students and administrative staff of Alma Mater, who may choose courses such as Introduction to Marketing, Methods and Customer Service Strategies; Measurement of Customer Satisfaction, Virtual Module: Business Creation; Database for MSMEs in Microsoft Access: Business Intelligence Strategic Planning; as well as the Knowledge Course 11 ICFES or the Diploma in Pedagogy for non-Licensed professionals, said Marisol Muñoz Ordóñez, Director of CECAV.
Within these activities to contribute to social development, the Alma Mater, through the Center for Continuous, Open and Virtual Education, started this May 4 with 110 students, training on the Saber 11 State tests. “The profile of the participants basically it is for 10th and 11th grade college students and people who finished high school and work, but want to enter the university to take the regular course at night or on Saturdays, "said Professor Isabel Mejía.
He stated that there is no age limit, the training can be taken by anyone who wants to prepare in tutorials, know the support material, do drills and learn about vocational guidance to present the Test with greater knowledge.
Within this academic project, there is the introductory marketing course that also started on May 4, ends on June 28 and during 64 virtual hours, students will learn the concepts and basic strategies of Marketing at the level of controllable variables, product , price, distribution channels, consumer psychology, segmentation and the market; the target population is the general public and employers, who will use the tools provided by virtuality, autonomous work in the inverted classroom.
The virtual module: business creation, is oriented to the student to elaborate a Business Plan from the generation of a contextualized and structured idea as a complement to the innovation and entrepreneurship route (RIE).
For its part, the Diploma in Obstetric and Urogynecological Rehabilitation, is aimed at physiotherapy students and physiotherapists who wish to delve into the field of urogynecology and obstetrics, covering a field of rehabilitation that presents a shortage of adequately trained professionals. This training will begin on July 17 and end on August 9, 2020, with 90 hours of practice and 30 hours of independent student work.
