During the week, the alliance between various institutions from the business, academic and government sectors was formalized to start the project "Implementation of a program for the participation and articulation of the Regional Ecosystem of Science, Technology and Innovation of Cauca."

 

With the aim of strengthening the Regional Ecosystem of Science, Technology and Innovation to facilitate the use of knowledge in the social and productive sectors, the alliance was formalized this week with the participation of delegates from various entities such as the Government of Cauca, the MEDIMARKETING Company and the University of Cauca.

 

The project, which is under the direction of professor Adolfo Plazas Tenorio and will be executed by the University of Cauca for a period of three years, has among its objectives:

 

 

 

• Strengthen the inter-institutional networks of trust UEES for the use of knowledge.

 

• Strengthen the territorial governance of Science, Technology and Innovation in the department of Cauca.

 

• Promote the culture of innovation among the UEES actors of the department of Cauca

 

It is noteworthy that, during the signing of the initiation act, a Technical Committee was formed, which would be made up of the Controller, the Project Director, the Supervisor and the Secretary of Development and Competitiveness of the Government of Cauca, which will support management and decision-making, as well as verifying the correct development of the project.

 

For its development, there will be various institutions and allied associations representing the government sector, business sector, academia and society, guaranteeing participation and articulation.
