Unicauca implements biosecurity protocol for the return to academic and administrative activities
In order to mitigate, control and carry out the proper management of COVID-19, University of Cauca establishes Resolution R-329 of June 4, 2020, framed in the provisions of the World Health Organization, National Government and Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
The University of Cauca, through Resolution R-329 of June 4, 2020, adopts the biosafety protocol for the return to face-to-face academic and administrative activities in its facilities in order to mitigate, control and carry out the proper management of COVID -19.
The administrative act is framed in the provisions of the World Health Organization WHO that declared the Coronavirus COVID -19 as a pandemic on March 11 of this year and in the regulations issued by the National Government (Decrees 457 of March 22, 593 of April 24, 2020, 636 of May 6, 2020 and 749 of May 28, 2020) and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection with Resolution 666 of April 24, 2020, which adopts the general protocol of biosecurity for mitigate, control and adequately manage the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
This way, the Alma Mater “caucana” adopts measures, actions and strategies so that students, workers and external users, appropriate behaviors to mitigate, control and reduce the risk of contagion of the coronavirus COVID-19 in the facilities of the University.
In accordance with Resolution R-329, the Human Talent Management Division and the Occupational Safety and Health Area, with the support of the Communications Management Center, will carry out the dissemination and socialization activities of the content of the aforementioned Biosafety Protocol.
