Unicauca and Tierra de Paz Foundation initiate a training process for entrepreneurs from the north of Cauca
The inter-institutional alliance enabled the opening of the diplomas: Basic Digital and Communication Skills; Participation and Advocacy in Public Policies; and Financial Education for entrepreneurs and community leaders from the municipalities of Caloto, Miranda, and Popayán.
"This training process begins with a focus on peacebuilding in northern Cauca, aiming to articulate, train, and establish a support network among the Community Action Organizations (OAC)," stated Doris Muñoz, director of the Center for Continuing, Open, and Virtual Education - CECAV, regarding the opening of the Diplomas: Basic Digital and Communication Competences; Participation and Advocacy in Public Policies; and Financial Education in the municipalities of Caloto, Miranda, and Popayán.
The training process is part of an alliance between the University of Cauca and the Tierra de Paz Foundation. "Through certified pedagogical training for the businesses led by the leaders and representatives of the OAC, employing diverse tools and topics that allow them to contribute to their performance within the professional, social, and personal sphere," added the CECAV Director.
The Basic Digital and Communication Competences diploma includes the participation of the following ventures:
Community Aqueduct Network - Popayán
Network of Cultural Ventures of Caloto RECC - Caloto
Cultural House for the development of artistic practices for people in living conditions and the community in general - Caloto
Community Networks for Peace - Miranda"
