Sounds for Peacebuilding Program Zone 6 Opens Call for Trainer Artists and Knowledgeable Artists
This is an opportunity to continue believing in transformative processes that contribute to peacebuilding and territorial harmony through musical and cultural education.
The University of Cauca, in partnership with the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Knowledge, will continue the presidential program Sounds for Peacebuilding in Zone 6 through an extension valid until June 30, 2025.
In 2024, this initiative benefited 25,717 children, adolescents, and young people who participated in the educational processes carried out in 225 educational institutions across 72 municipalities in the departments of Cauca, Huila, and Nariño, thanks to the valuable contributions of 310 trainer artists and knowledgeable artists.

To strengthen the program’s team, we invite all those interested in contributing their knowledge and experience in musical education to apply to the Trainer Artists and Knowledgeable Artists Resume Bank for educational institutions requiring these profiles.

Required Profiles:
Trainer Artists:
Profile A: Professional in music, music studies, music production, music education, pedagogy, or musical arts, with at least two (2) years of certified experience in musical or artistic education.
Profile B: Professional in music, music studies, music production, music education, pedagogy, or musical arts; or a degree in artistic education with at least two (2) years of certified experience in musical or artistic education, and specific experience in early childhood education.
Profile D: Knowledgeable person or individual with at least five (5) years of certified experience in musical or artistic education.
Knowledgeable Artists:
Profile C: Degree in artistic education or a related field, with at least two (2) years of certified experience in educational processes.
Registration Process:
The registration process begins on February 4, 2025, and follows these steps:
