During the months of October and November 2023, Professor César Alberto Collazos from the University of Cauca took part in various events in Mexico and Brazil, where he was invited to define new research proposals and present his experience in Human-Computer Interaction.

Professor César Alberto Collazos, affiliated with the Systems Department of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications at the University of Cauca and coordinator of the IDIS Group (Research and Development in Software Engineering), participated in different academic events in 2023. He was invited due to his research trajectory in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).

From October 23rd to 25th, he participated in the III HCI & Data Science Seminar organized by the Mackenzie Presbyterian University, São Paulo (Brazil). During the event, he engaged in various meetings to define new research proposals and delivered a talk on the future of Human-Computer Interaction.

Similarly, he was one of the invited panelists at the scientific initiation session, which involved more than 600 attendees, discussing the use of Artificial Intelligence in research processes.

From October 30th to November 2nd, Professor Collazos was invited by the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (Mexico) as a speaker at the 2023 International Conferences on Systems and Educational Environments and the 2023 Latin American Conference on Human-Computer Interaction (CLIHC 2023). He presented a talk on the use of ChatGPT and its impact on Human-Technology communication, and was one of the guests in the forum discussing the Future of HCI in Latin America.

Finally, the University of Cauca professor participated in the Forum on the Integration of Higher Interdisciplinary Careers with the Dual Model ICID 23, which concluded on November 2nd at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (Mexico).

"These visits allowed for the consolidation of collaborative relationships to formulate research projects focused on human-centered technology design," concluded Professor César Alberto Collazos.
