Professor César Alberto Collazos will be one of the speakers at the VI Ibero-American Conference on Human-Computer Interaction

The professor from the Systems Department will give a talk about the current situation of HCI in Latin America, during the virtual event that will take place from September 16 to 18.

 

César Alberto Collazos, attached to the Department of Systems of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications of the University of Cauca and Coordinator of the IDIS Group will be one of the speakers at the VI Ibero-American Conference on Human-Computer Interaction. The event, which for this version will be virtual, is organized from September 16 to 18 by the Universidad Católica de Santa María in Arequipa (Peru).

 

Professor Collazos will present a talk on the current situation of HCI in Latin America and will present the trends in this area. Along with the Professor, the researchers will be invited: Philippe Palanque (Université Toulouse III-France), Jaime Muñoz (Autonomous University of Aguascalientes-Mexico), Cristian Rusu (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso-Chile), María Dolores Lozano (Universidad Castilla la Mancha -Spain), Francisco Gutiérrez (University of Granada -Spain), Eveling Castro (Catholic University of Santa María-Peru), Antoni Granollers (University of Lleida-Spain).

 

The event with previous editions held in Colombia and Mexico, expects that next year it will take place in Sao Paulo (Brazil).

 

For this edition, it has the presence of recognized researchers on HCI issues at a national and international level. This time there will be a space for presentation by exhibitors and attendees, in which round tables will be held on specialized topics such as:

• Emotional Interfaces
