The professor from the University of Cauca organizes the Doctoral Colloquium at the Interaction 20/21 Congress together with professors from the Carlos III University and the Castilla La Mancha University.
César Alberto Collazos, coordinator of the IDIS group (Research and Development in Software Engineering) and professor in the Systems Department of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications of the University of Cauca, is one of the organizers of the Doctoral Colloquium, to be held at the framework of the Interaction Congress 20/21 that will take place from September 22 to 24, 2021 in Malaga (Spain).
The event, one of the most important in the area of Human-Computer Interaction in the world, is organized by the Person-Computer Interaction Association AIPO, of which Professor Collazos is part of its Board of Directors. Together with the Professor of the University of Cauca, the organizers will be Lourdes Moreno from the Carlos III University (Spain) and Víctor López Jaquero from the Castilla La Mancha University (Spain).
The Doctoral Colloquium is a forum in which doctoral students can discuss their work among themselves and with experts in their area. Students must present and discuss their thesis and may receive comments to help them with their research plans on topics related to the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) area.
“This is one of the lines that is being worked on within the Doctorate in Electronics Sciences at the Universidad del Cauca and a subject that the IDIS Group has been leading in Ibero-America for a long time, as they are the coordinators of the HCI-Collab Network: Red Iberoamericana to support HCI teaching-learning processes ”, emphasized Professor César Alberto Collazos.
