National and international experiences on decolonization alternatives of economies
Fifty researchers, students and activists participated in the International Meeting ‘Alternatives to development and trends in decolonization of economies for the reproduction of life and the Good Living
Experiences from Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Peru and Colombia on development alternatives and Good Living were socialized by experts during the International Meeting on Alternatives to Development and Decolonization Trends of "Economies" for the Reproduction of Life and Good Living, which was carried out in the Integration Committee of the Colombian Massif - CIMA.
The event was organized by the Master in Interdisciplinary Studies of Development of the Universidad del Cauca; the Research Group on Intercultural and Decolonization Studies of the University of Antioquia, the CLACSO Working Group - Good living and alternative economies; and the UNAM-Mexico Economic Research Institute.
"In this space were found about 50 researchers, students and activists who are part of social processes oriented to the decolonization of development from the" economies "of good living, seeking the expanded reproduction of life and good living," explained the Professor at the University of Cauca, Carlos Corredor.
He added that in this scenario, experiences of national and international speakers were announced, in addition to making a special table for the discussion of the presentations of the CLACSO Working Group “Alternative Economies and Good Living,” which was guided by the researcher Boris Marathon Pimental of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
