MEN renews Qualified Registered to the Geography of Regional and Environmental Development program

Through Resolution No. 11378 of July 2, 2020, the Ministry of National Education renewed for seven years the Qualified Registry for this academic program offered at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University of Cauca.

 

The Ministry of National Education by electronic notification communicated Resolution No. 11378 of July 2, 2020, in which it renewed for seven years the Qualified Registry for the Geography of Regional and Environmental Development program. "This achievement is due to the teamwork of its teachers led by the former coordinator of the teacher program Carolina Castrillón Ojeda," said Usuardo Ramírez Rico, head of the Department of Geography of Regional and Environmental Development.

 

The Ministry clarifies that by Resolution No. 4193 of March 19, 2020, terms were suspended in the administrative procedures until the mandatory isolation ends due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Consequently, Resolution No. 11378 of July 2, 2020, is duly enforced as of November 18, 2020.

 

The Geography of Regional and Environmental Development program was created by Resolution 037 of September 17, 1996, issued by the Superior Council of the University of Cauca, SNIES Code 4493 and registration with ICFES 11049103301900111100; with Qualified Registration Resolution 2354 of May 10, 2007 in accordance with its university nature, professional level, face-to-face modality in Popayán and grants the title of Geographer.
