Graduates of the University of Cauca continue their solidarity work with the workers of the hospital care centers in the city of Popayán, giving them anti-fluid uniforms and face masks, biosecurity implements manufactured by the company “Soluciones Textiles de Occidente SOLUTEXO”.

“We are working on a suit that has been designed in our company due to the lack of them in the national, including international, market. We have designed a suit that is waterproof, therefore repels fluids and provides a certain degree of protection for health professionals, "said Andrés Mauricio Sánchez, a graduate of the Business Administration program and leader of SOLUTEXO

These deliveries to the San José, Susana López Hospitals and the La Estancia and Santa Gracia clinics are carried out thanks to donations made by 173 people in the amount of $ 23,700,000, plus a series of supplies that constitute the supplies delivered.

“We want to give a huge thank you to all the people who made this campaign possible. We have intertwined hearts, wills and donations to reach a total of 613 anti-fluid uniforms and a series of donations between supplies, medical incentives, hospital supplies and face masks”, emphasized the graduate of the Economics program Carlos Sala Cardona and one of the leaders of this initiative.

With this installment, the campaign launched by these professionals from the University of Cauca to provide biosecurity elements and supplies to the city's hospital, firefighter and police personnel closes.
