Exchange of successful accreditation experiences at the Santander de Quilichao headquarters of the University of Cauca.
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Department of Foreign Languages, and the Quality and Accreditation Office of the Faculty held a meeting with the Bachelor's Program in Modern Languages at the Santander Quilichao headquarters of the University of Cauca, titled 'Successful Experiences in Accreditation.'
'Successful Experiences in Accreditation' is an initiative led by the Quality and Accreditation Office of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, which is part of the Faculty's Development Plan led by the Dean. Its objective is to strengthen the culture of quality and accreditation of the Faculty's programs.
Through this initiative, on Wednesday, August 9, the Bachelor's Programs in Modern Languages with a focus on English and French from the Popayán and Santander campuses met at the Santander de Quilichao campus to share experiences, tools, strategies, and lessons learned in the accreditation process of the program.
This event featured the participation of Dr. Alfonso Rafael Buelvas, Dean of the Faculty, Mg. Mercy Lorena Urbano, Quality and Accreditation Manager of the Faculty, members of the Program Committee from the Popayán and Santander campuses, the Department Head, program coordinators, and the Institutional Quality and Accreditation Management team from the University led by Dr. Alexander Buendía.
Thus, this activity served as a starting point and a reference for the intention and the beginning of the self-assessment process for accreditation purposes presented by the Bachelor's Program in Modern Languages at the Santander de Quilichao campus.
