Deadline to participate in internal calls is extended

La Universidad -

The Office of the Vice President for Research and the Office of the Vice President for Culture and Welfare report that the deadline has been extended until August 21 to participate in three internal calls aimed at the university community.

Until Friday, August 21, the deadline was extended to participate in two internal calls aimed at supporting the pre-commercial and / or commercial validation of results already obtained in projects carried out by research groups and the creation of a list of eligible projects aimed at the strengthening of social interaction at the University of Cauca.

This decision was made known through two adenda published on the web portal www.unicauca.edu.co, in which the new calendar that these calls have, addressed to research groups and members of the university community is presented.

It should be remembered that the Call for support of social interaction projects aims to promote activities that are framed in the strengthening of social interaction through the articulation of missionary functions of Research and Academic Training from research projects, social interaction and culture and well-being.

Likewise, the Call to support pre-commercial and / or commercial validation of research results aims to support projects with research results that are currently, at least, at a level of technological maturity TRL 5 (completed laboratory work) and CRL 2 commercial maturity (there is an analysis of the environment, the market and a first version of the technology business model).

Likewise, the deadline was extended until August 21, to participate in the Call to create a Bank of eligible projects to support the technological maturation of research results that aims to support the transfer of results from research groups. Research to society, thus contributing to territorial peace through the generation of Spin-Off companies, licensing to the industry, knowledge transfer, the offer of high value-added services to society, among other transfer options.
