The Vice-president of Culture and Welfare of the University of Cauca through the Division of Cultural Management, in accordance with the 2017-2022 rectory proposal, proposes to all university students to be linked to the formation and strengthening of Artistic Groups in all Modalities and genres and become part of the Representative Dance Group of the Institution.

The objective is to strengthen the Representative Group of Folk Dance of the University of Cauca with new members, to recreate and stage the different choreographic expressions of Colombian folklore and new genres of dance that allow it to consolidate a repertoire for its social projection and to become one of the cultural ambassadors of the Alma Mater, who represents the Institution in all the events required.

 

Who can participate?

 

The Representative Group of Folk Dances will be composed of students, teachers and University of Cauca administrators who have knowledge and experience in executing different dances that make up the regional and national choreographic map.
