Given the detection and increase of cases of coronavirus COVID - 19 in Colombia, the decision was made to suspend the call in the process of electing the representative of the Graduates to the Superior Council of the University of Cauca.

Within the framework of the preventive measures adopted at the University of Cauca corresponding to the recommendations of national organizations and institutions, the call for the election of the representative of the graduates to the Higher Council, which was being carried out, is suspended.

This measure is established through Directive Resolution 228 of 2020, which indicates that as of Thursday, March 19, the registration of graduates and the registration of candidates is suspended until further notice.

The aforementioned administrative act indicates that it is necessary to take measures to safeguard people's lives, in accordance with national and local guidelines.

It is worth remembering that through the directive Resolution 195 of 2020, the call was made for the election of the representative of the graduates before the Superior Council for a period of two years that governs from May 14, 2020.
