Call for Applications for Student University Residence Slots

Prepare to Secure Your Spot

The Vice-Rector’s Office for Culture and Well-being announces that, in the coming weeks, a call for applications will open for the allocation of spots in the Student University Residences.

This call is aimed at students whose place of residence is outside the municipality of Popayán.

Below, we share the requirements that applicants must meet at the time of application.

For more information, visit the Division of Integrated Health Management and Human Development, located in the basement of the Engineering Building, from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Requirements for Registration:

  1. 1. Application Form: Fully completed.
  2. 2. Identity Document: Legible copy of the applicant's identity document.
  3. 3. Proof of Residency: Original document detailing the socioeconomic status, issued by the competent authority, not older than 30 days. It must include the address of the residence and the family group in the municipality of origin.
  4. 4. Utility Bills: Copies of the last three electricity payment receipts from the residence of origin. If there is no electricity service, a certification issued by the corresponding territorial authority must be provided.
  5. 5. Birth Certificate: Copy of the applicant’s birth certificate.
  6. 6. Guardian's Employment Certificate: Issued within the last 30 days, detailing the name and identification of the employer, type of contract, salary, and payment frequency. For contractors, attach the contract; for independent workers, a recent affidavit.
  7. 7. Grade Certificate: For first-semester students, a certificate of the average grades from the last school year.
  8. 8. Enrollment Receipt: Copy of the financial enrollment receipt duly paid.
  9. 9. Recent Photographs: Two photographs, 3 x 4 cm, with proper lighting, showing the full face and upper part of the shoulders, without accessories that obstruct visibility.
  10. 10. Affidavit: Stating that no professional, technological, or technical degree is held and that no residency rights have been lost due to sanctions.
  11. 11. Medical Certificate: If applicable, for presenting a disability, issued by the corresponding EPS.
