With the official publication of the final guidelines on May 23, the Ministry of National Education, through the Technical Secretariat of the National Council of Higher Education (CESU), officially opens the call for applications to fill a vacancy on the National Accreditation Council (CNA). So if you are interested and meet the required profile, this may be your opportunity to join a key body in ensuring the quality of higher education in Colombia.

As we previously informed you, the Ministry of National Education, through CESU's Technical Secretariat, is seeking a new member for the National Accreditation Council. And today, we share an important update: the final guidelines have been published — the result of a citizen feedback review process!

Applications will be open from 8:00 a.m. on May 26 to 4:59 p.m. on June 16, 2025. Once this period ends, the aim is to fill a vacancy on the CNA, the entity responsible for ensuring that higher education institutions and programs across the country — those seeking to obtain or renew accreditation — meet the highest quality standards.
