From October 15 to 25, 2020, book presentations, conversations, recitals, conferences, workshops, meetings, and activities for children, youth and adults will take place. In September, the launch of the cultural program and the FIL web portal Cali are scheduled; taking advantage of the proximity and availability offered by virtuality, you will have a list of magnificent guests.

IBF Cali will have 15 thematic stripes; among these "See to Read" mainly with presentations by authors and novelties of books, others such as Readings for Knowledge, Reading Clubs, Univalle 75 years, Colombia from fair to fair, a strip dedicated to design and illustration, among others.

All videoconferences are freely accessible and free for all audiences. This includes some workshops that, although they will be free, will have a registration form to the extent that they are limited in space.

The academic programming of the fair is led hand in hand with the Universidad del Valle, and twelve other universities in the region: the University of San Buenaventura, the Autonomous University of the West, the University of Cauca, the Antonio Nariño University, Uniminuto, the Marco Fidel Suárez Military Aviation School, the Free University, the Javeriana University, Icesi, Unicatólica, the National University of Colombia and the Santiago de Cali University.

Throughout the year it worked with its editors, with whom it constituted the Group of University Editorials of the Pacific GEUP, to strengthen the circulation of publications and create spaces for professional training for the sector.

This new version of IBF Cali will allow you to cross borders from the comfort of the place that the public chooses to connect. A free literary event, for all audiences. "Manuel Zapata Olivella and the song of the African diaspora", as Guest of Honor.

It will carry out the 4th International Meeting of Editors that this year will address issues of digital publishing. It will have an academic program made up of 76 events including book presentations, university publications and workshops for professionals and nine free-circulation digital editions that will be launched in this version of the IBF Cali 2020 Virtual.
