This hybrid event (in-person/virtual) consists of two keynote lectures on key topics in semiotic studies, followed by a Q&A session to encourage interaction between students, professors, and guests.

The conference will take place on April 2 at 8:00 AM in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences (Alternate Campus, Calle #3-60, Popayán). The event will begin with a presentation by the Research Group on Semiotic Studies, followed by an introduction to the theme "Discourses and Power" by the group's mentor. Then, invited professors will deliver keynote presentations. Finally, a discussion space will be opened for questions and audience participation, fostering debate.
