Automation Engineering
The Engineering Program in Industrial Automation is part of the academic and administrative structure of the Faculty of Engineering and Telecommunications at the University of Cauca. It was established by Agreement No 031 of May 19, 1998, issued by the Supreme Council. The program aims to train professionals in engineering in the area of Industrial Automation, able to innovate, create, appropriate, and implement technologies that contribute to the development of the industrial sector through the transfer of knowledge and experimentation, grounded in a solid, scientific, technological, and human foundation. By Resolution 4492 of October 10, 2005, issued by the Ministry of National Education and registered with the National Information System of Higher Education (SINES) on November 10, 2005, this program was awarded the Qualified Registry of the University of Cauca.
Degree title: Industrial Automation Engineer.
Schedule: Day classes.
Modality: The classes are held in a classroom setting.
Duration: Ten (10) semesters.
Admission: Semiannual.
