Telematics Network and Services specialization
The Program is committed to seek appropriate means and provide the best opportunities to use and develop the scientific and research capability of our professionals to contribute to the scientific and technological development of the region and the country.
The specialization’s graduates will have sufficient criteria to plan operate, maintain, manage and develop the Telematics networks and services of the twenty first century.
The Telematics Network and Services specialization program corresponds to a post-grad academic level, for which it is necessary that their applicants have appropriate knowledge in the basic sciences (mathematics, probability, and physics) with applications in network design, engineering protocols, transmission media, electromagnetic fields, among others.
The set of proposals allow for the deepening of courses to the necessary level of specialization, achieving depth within the specific aspects of networking technologies, services, protocols, trends, and application development in general, with WEB orientation. Likewise, the progress towards convergence of fixed and mobile networks, IP version 6 and other issues of present interest in this field of study, is considered and studied.
The field of knowledge that defines the nature of this program is found primarily within the network of data and the services that can be offered over these networks, these fields being cultivated by the Department of Telecommunications, supporting necessary and relevant aspects with the help of faculty from the Departments of Telematics and Systems at the same university.
Being a Specialization Program, the level of complexity required is the same as is needed to achieve real professional practice qualification and skills development that ensure and enable improvement in the same occupation, profession, discipline, or in related or complementary areas.
The structure of the program fulfills the requirements for its level and offers a formation in agreement with the Specialization Program that can satisfy the expectations of the graduates of different careers, related to the Telematics networks and services.
